Chemistry 2

This course is divided into two parts: general chemistry and organic chemistry.
The first half of the course will study the following general chemistry concepts: Measurements; Atomic structure; Bonding; and Chemical calculations.
The second half of the course will be an introduction to organic chemistry. The student will explore the following concepts: Bond-line drawings; resonance; Acid-base reactions; and nomenclature. In addition, several main biology concepts will the introduced to the student.
